A collection taken a the Carols Around the Tree raised £69 for the Friends of Yeovil Hospital. The annual Kingsdon Christmas Draw raised £777 which will go towards the development of the community shop. The prizes for the draw were donated by villagers and included a hamper worth £150, and a basket full of cider. Of at least equal value was the beautifully decorated tree shaped Christmas cake which some people had been watching take shape on Facebook!
