Our well-maintained village hall is used for all sorts of meetings and entertainment purposes, available for hire and ideal for children’s parties, meetings, quiz nights and wedding receptions.

HIRE COSTS

Kingsdon Villagers £10 per session plus electricity
Non Kingsdon Villagers £18 per session plus electricity
Session = 3 hours. Electricity 18p per unit.

PREMISES LICENCE

Kingsdon Village Hall has a premises licence authorising the following regulated entertainment and licensable activities at the below times:

The performance of plays 14:00 to 23:00
The exhibition of films 18:00 to 23:00
The performance of live music 12:00 to 23:00
The performance of recorded music 12:00 to 23:00
The performance of dance 12:00 to 23:00
The performance of dance 12:00 to 23:00

The hall has a licence with the Performing Rights Society for the performance of copyright music.

THE HALL IS NOT LICENSED FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOL

In order to hold a licensable event not covered by the Village Hall’s Premises Licence a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) will be needed to be given to the licensing authority.
